The project SCHÖNBERG OP . A13 – TRANSITLÄRM METAMORPHOSEN takes the bizzare traffic situation of the Tyrolean village Schönberg as a base to convert the transit noise into music. The highway, which surrounds the village is screened on a huge canvas and the local music band of Schönberg uses it as a sheet of music. The result is a aleatoric composion by the highway, which is interpreted by the instruments of a traditional brass band.
